Drake released Certified Lover Boy half a year ago, and we're still waiting on the Air Force 1s that were supposed to accompany the album. For a relatively simple white Air Force 1 Low, the 'Certified Lover Boy' is certainly shrouded in mystery and surrounded by rumours – it was even said that it had been cancelled entirely because Nike's factories were having a hard time producing the all-over heart pattern that replaced the standard stars on the outsole. All that's known for sure is that photos of the style have been making the rounds since last July, and that we've finally gotten a semi-clear look at its details via @prvt.selection.
At first glance, the 'Certified Lover Boy' appears to be a plain all-white Air Force 1 made from tumbled leather, but the first indication that it's something special is a cursive 'Love You Forever' hit on the midsole that replaces standard Air branding. The above-mentioned infamous hearts are present on the toe and heel of the midsole, and small NOCTA hits can be seen on both the heel and the the ice-blue insole.
We're still without any solid information on when (or even if) the NOCTA x Nike Air Force Low 'Certified Lover Boy' will release. With the album's drop well in the rearview mirror and the supply chain issues that continue to plague the global economy, there's a good chance that it may never see the light of day in full. That's assuming that it wasn't just a friends and family sneaker that was never supposed to see a retail release in the first place! Any way it goes, we'll be sure to keep you updated.
