On-Foot Look at the froSkate x Nike SB Dunk High
froSkate and Nike SB's joyous SB Dunk High colab was revealed earlier in the month, and now we've got an on-foot look at it thanks to @yankeekicks. A Chicago-based outfit that was founded in 2019, froSkate are, in their own words '[a] collective for the non-traditional skate community.' Shining a spotlight on non-conforming, transgender or queer BIPOC skaters, they're all about inclusivity – a mission displayed in full across their bright and bold SB Dunks.
Lime, ocean blue, red and yellow appear in an asymmetrical fashion across froSkate's kicks, sitting atop white toeboxes, quarter panels and collars plus a black Swoosh. It's atop these quarter panels that another signature detail can be seen: debossed text that reads 'ALL Love' on the left shoe and 'No Hate' on the right shoe.
This entire message is spelt out in full colour on the right tongue tag, while a froSkate logo is placed on the left tongue tag. Multiple lace options are available as well, with wearers given their choice of bright-coloured, metal-tipped laces or ones that feature a repeating 'ALL Love, No Hate' print. Last but not least, a pattern that matches the signature shades of the upper can be seen under the icy blue outsoles.
A release date for the froSkate x Nike SB Dunk High has yet to be announced, but you can expect it to drop later this year.
