Is Travis Scott Finished With the Air Jordan 1?
Over the past four years, Travis Scott’s clout in hip hop and streetwear has taken sneaker collaborations to unprecedented levels of hype.
Scott kicked off his foray into the world of sneaker collaborations with the Nike Air Force 1, eventually moving onto the Air Jordan 4 with Jordan Brand in 2018. That same year, it was revealed that Scott would be bringing his raging design acumen to the storied Air Jordan 1. Featuring brown uppers, enlarged black reversed Swooshes and sail outsoles, this model was the beginning of the internationally recognised Travis Scott Jordan Brand fit-out.
With a stack of pairs releasing over the years, now it seems that Scott will no longer be working on the model. According to Jordan Brand expert and sneaker insider ,@mrunloved1s, he claims that Scott is finished collaborating on the Air Jordan 1. He said, ‘I’m very clear on my wording. I said last Travis Jordan “1”. No highs, lows, mids. Fusions, interpretations, remixes. Done. On to other silos.’
Stay tuned for official confirmation.
