Today, news emerged concerning a possible collaboration between Nike and the beloved soft drink brand Jarritos. The leak was first shared by Complex’s Brendan Dunne, who cited ‘sneaker industry sources.’
Although we currently don’t know anything about the look of the shoe, Jarritos flavours like Guava, Lime, and Passion Fruit would give Nike SB colour designers a bold and fruity palate to work with, in line with the playful nature of Nike SB collaborations.
Jarritos is a staple at taco trucks and bodegas across the United States, although the Mexican beverage may be less ubiquitous in other parts of the world.
Nonetheless, this is one collaboration we’re excited to see hit shelves. The Jarritos x Nike SB Dunk is rumoured to arrive in 2023.
