Jeremy Scott Gives the adidas Campus 80s Detachable Bones
The unexpected is what’s to be expected from Jeremy Scott, especially when it comes to his wild sneaker link-ups with adidas. But sometimes, his creations can still catch you off guard. Whether it’s enlarged, cartoonish wings slapped onto the adi Forum Hi, all-over money print, or plush toy inspiration like these, the Jeremy Scott design aesthetic is also one of the most recognised to date. And you could definitely say that of his latest collaboration with adidas, this time using the adidas Campus 80s.
Reimagining the classic silhouette, Scott has added oversized, removable bones to the laces, along with hairy, faux-fur tongues. It seems that Scott took inspiration from prehistoric times for the make-up, dressing one of the colourways in a hot pink animal print. In terms of construction, the pairs are made from premium leather uppers and lining, rubber outsoles and feature a regular lacing system.
These Jeremy Scott x adidas Campus 80s are currently raffling via adidas Japan. News of a wider release is yet to come, but keep it locked to SF for all updates.
