Limited Edition Bandai x Nike SB Dunk High ‘Gundam’ Figurines Releasing in China

Ahead of the anime and sneaker crossover that is the Bandai x Nike SB Dunk High ‘Gundam’ collaboration, pre-orders will be opening up for a limited edition figurine emulating the anticipated colourways. However, according to official reports, this will be a little harder to cop than the average pair of hype sneakers.

According to Gundam.Info (and Google Translate), these figurines were designed by esteemed toy artist TOUMA. The white one, known as QMSV RX-0 Unicorn Gundam [Destroy Mode] Ver.NIKE SB, bears the markings of Nike SB. This is seen above with not only a co-branded shoulder and rear skirt, but the figure’s mechanical feet have been replaced with robotic-shaped Nike SB Dunks! Joining this figurine is the dark complement to match with the black Dunks in this colab, named QMSV RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee [Destroy Mode] Ver.NIKE SB.

The exciting part is over. What makes acquiring these toys more challenging is the news that they will only be available for pre-order in Mainland China at selected Gundam retailers later this month. They will be priced at 799 Yuan (about $125 at time of writing), and won’t be delivered until at least January 2022. However, pre-order customers will receive a commemorative keychain, which will arrive much sooner, at the end of September.
