Nike’s design for Liverpool’s next away kit has not gone down well with fans after it was leaked online.
The kit – shared by Esvaphane on twitter – features a white shirt with wavy lines of different colors running across the torso.
It came as something of a shock to the system after a low-key gold away kit last season.

Nike’s striking new design for the Liverpool away kit has been leaked to the internet via Twitter

Some fans have taken to Twitter to express their frustrations with the leaked new Liverpool away kit
This will be the third season that Nike have provided kits for Liverpool, and the reviews from the Anfield faithful have not been good.
‘Nike has failed miserably with our kits so far, maybe a handsome one out of the lot. This is absolutely awful,’ one fan tweeted, while another asked ‘Does anyone take shit with this?’
Liverpool’s fortunes have changed since switching to Nike. In the last two seasons that New Balance have provided their kit, they have won the Champions League and the Premier League.
Under Nike, the Reds had a trophyless season and one that promised a quadruple but only delivered two domestic cups.

Last season’s Liverpool away kit was much more low-key than the racy new number
Other fans took a more creative approach in their reviews, with one saying, “Looks like a TV from 2003 when the satellite dish went down.”
Another was more direct: “F*** off, we play disguised as a migraine aura”
Some saw an opportunity in the kit, with one supporter commenting: “We’re going to mesmerize the opposition players.”
The disappointment fans felt with the new kit is a typical dive into a rollercoaster summer for the Reds.

Some fans took a creative approach to slamming the bold new tape on social media
It started with the disappointment of missing out on the double, compounded by the loss of Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich and the signing of Erling Haaland for Manchester City.
Tempers are said to have risen after signing Darwin Nunes and keeping Mo Salah at the club, but the disappointing away kit will be another blow for the Kopites.
Liverpool will be hoping to put the new strip to good use as they look to overtake City and win another Premier League title.
