Nike Air Max 90 G US Open DM9009-146 Release Date

Nike Golf has continually found new approaches to bringing streetwear to the green. Whether it’s collaborating with Jordan Brand’s portfolio of silhouettes or using traditional Nike designs, Nike Golf offers more opportunities than ever to stand out. This time around, they’re once again reworking the classic Air Max 90 into a golf-ready shape while celebrating the US Open. The annual national championship is one of four major golf tournaments and is being held this year in Brookline, Massachusetts.

The Air Max 90 G comes in a “Summit White/Dark Marina Blue/Red Clay” color scheme that pulls themes from both the event and its location. Opting for a studless outsole, this pair stays true to its original shape and features a Phylon foam midsole with an Air unit, lightweight synthetic upper and signature waffle outsole. Equipped for the elements, it’s built to be waterproof and is backed by Nike’s one-year waterproof warranty. Rounding out the specs, a Swoosh-shaped lobster graphic on a hang tag, pays homage to the prevalence of lobster in Massachusetts.

The release is set to coincide with the start of the US Open on June 16 via Nike and select Nike Golf retailers for $150.

In other footwear news, Nike has brought tumbled leather and mesh to the Air Max 1.
