Nike Air Max 95 DQ0268-001
Although the 27th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 95 has yet to include a high profile collaboration, the sneaker continues to be an important part of the brand’s product lineup.
Recently, the Christian Tresser-designed silhouette appeared in a mix of off-whites and muted blacks, ready for fall, and bold, eye-catching blues on its suede and mesh construction. The central overlays of the vamp and the areas of the spine they connect to steal the show with their rich blue hue, while the lace loops and overlaid swooshes at the lateral heel also join the mix. Air Max units bring some of the upper’s flair underfoot, keeping things standard from Tresser’s original design from 1995. Branding on the top of the tongue and upper heel area ditches their traditional setup in exchange for playful counterparts that seem to place the latest AM 95 in a special collection; this last area has the messaging “95” which looks like a recently seen Air Force 1 “82”.
No details of the Nike.com launch have been released by the brand, but that should change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
