Nike Air Max 97 “Mighty Swooshers” DX6057-001

While countless sneaker collectors eagerly await the return of the Nike Air Max 97 in original styles, Christian Tresser’s iconic design recently appeared in a playful “The Mighty Swooshers” theme.

Similar to other Nike Sportswear offerings, the upcoming shoes indulge in comic book-inspired detailing on their upper and sole unit, with the former area reveling in several different colored dots. A legend to the fictional superhero team appears on the sock liners, while pull tabs at the top of the tongue and spine use comic book-style text to reimagine the Air Max branding, for example. Visible full-length Air units underfoot opt ​​for a contrasting yellow hue that further contributes to the AM 97’s cooling package.
