Nike Air Max Terrascape 97 “Magic Ember” DQ3976-002

The Nike Air Max Terrascape 97 may help Christian Tresser’s original design celebrate its 25th anniversary, but it also cements itself as one of the brand’s most compelling eco-friendly options to date.

Recently, the partially recycled trail-inspired proposal emerged in a mix of ‘Black’, ‘Magic Ember’, ‘Hyper Royal’ and ‘Ironstone’, creating a set reminiscent of one of the Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low collaborations from November 2021. Weather-resistant mud flaps join layers of porous mesh to create a familiar yet refreshing arrangement; reworked profile swooshes and other branding also help. Underfoot, the full-length Air Max unit is wedged between Nike Grind solutions, which make something from recycled manufacturing scraps.
