Wavy! This Nike Dunk Low Features Ocean-Inspired Details
News on this release was first published on February 24, 2022.
Update March 17, 2022: Following the initial leaked imagery, Nike has just come through blessing us with official shots of their upcoming Dunk Low 'Ocean'. A release date is still unknown at this point.
Nike are accustomed to making a splash with their Dunk releases, so it feels fitting that the Dunk Low is dropping in a wavy colourway that appears as if it's inspired by the ocean. Where recent releases like the Dunk Low 'Prime Pink' have landed on the vivid side of the spectrum, this oceanic makeup instead opts for a more low-key look, though it's certainly not lacking for detail!
As seen in the photos both above and below – provided by Twitter sneaker sleuth brandon1an – this Dunk Low takes a classic two-tone colourblocking scheme and turns it on its head by using alternate materials. Its key detail is provided by the textured ocean blue overlays, which feature slightly distressed detailing to lock in their ocean-centric look. The white leather panels are tumbled as well, and a water-esque pattern is used on the tongue tag, which sits atop a jersey-like mesh tongue.

Things don't stop there, however. The same water print can be seen on the insole, and the outsoles supply a marbled white-and-blue look that adds a finishing splash of ocean water to the style.
A release date for this Dunk Low has yet to be announced, but it appears to be a women's style and is likely to hit retailers in the coming weeks. It'll likely be priced at $100, but could potentially cost $110 to allot for its premium materials.
