Update January 20, 2022: The Nike Dunk Low Black/White hit shelves back in 2021 and now almost a year later the fan-favourite will be receiving a restock! As per sneaker sleuth @zsneakerheadz, they are expected to land on February 2 via the SNRKS app. Who's doubling up?

Nike sure ain’t done with the Dunk. The final three weeks of the year are already loaded for a couple of upcoming colourways, but the kick circus carries over into January 2021, when a new slew of Dunks are due to hit, including this simple black and white colourway.

Two-toned black and white Dunk Lows are by no means earth-shattering news, and there is only so much that can be written on the topic, but discerning sneakerheads can still pick out intriguing details. At surface level, it’s a pretty conventional build using leather uppers paired to nylon tongues, mesh lining, and a rubber sole. But closer inspection notices minutiae like a different type of shoelace used. They’re flat, but not as wide as the variant used on 2020’s Dunk releases. But the mesh used for the lining appears to be the same as recent editions, and so is the thin nylon tongue with woven tongue label. Pretty hard to get that wrong, though some aficionados would prefer a bit of padding. However, beggars can’t be choosers, especially as Dunks will continue to be the hot ticket item in the coming months.
