Rare Game-Worn Michael Jordan Sneakers to be Auctioned
In January 30, 1988, a game against the Knicks saw the rare occurrence of Michael Jordan wearing a non-signature shoe on court: the Nike Air Alpha Force. During the 1987–1988 season we saw him mainly wearing the Air Jordan 2 Low, and switching up his game sneakers fuelled rumours that he was clashing with the Swoosh's design team.
Now this rare pair, which is signed and worn by Jordan himself, has showed up for auction. The betting is tame for now, with bids coming well under the $190,372.80 his game-worn Converse sold for, but you can expect things to heat up before the auction closes at the start of November.
