Women’s sneakers have been straight fire in 2022, from new colourways on more modern silhouettes to OG models as well. Jordan Brand have been among the brands leading the way on this front, and they’re continuing to do so as the year comes to a close, with one of the latest iterations of the Air Jordan 11 being served up at none other than JD Sports.
Within the sneakersphere, the Air Jordan 11 is one of Jordan Brand’s most revered silhouettes, receiving only a select number of retros over the decades. Recently, Jordan Brand have been changing that fact, releasing a handful of drops while ensuring its market doesn’t become oversaturated. Included in the roster is the women’s ‘Midnight Navy’, a fresh take on the 11 that sees a number of interesting design cues.
In terms of construction, where you’d usually find patent leather, the ‘Midnight Navy’ wears velvet navy mudguards instead. Silver Jumpman badges have been placed on the heels, where embroidered branding is typically found. Elsewhere, the uppers are predominantly navy and met with white midsoles and blue outsoles.
The women’s Air Jordan 11 ‘Midnight Navy’ is releasing in a few days! The pairs will see an official release via JD Sports on December 16.
