Nike Air Max 90 “Pressure” FB4315-100

Throughout a year dominated by the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1, Tinker Hatfield’s iconic silhouette from 1990 proudly enjoyed more than 30 years of influence. Through a series of homages to Mr. Frank Rudy and the air-filled bubbles he is responsible for creating, the Air Max 97 and Vapormax Flyknit 2021 both introduced us to the brand’s initial tribute Beaverton. Its secondary collection instead focuses solely on the barometric pressure found in the air-infused midsoles of the various models, however, with the Air Max 90 entering the foray of neutral tones and bold color contrasts.

Unleashing the aesthetic and accompanying “PSI” hang tag on the Air Max 97, its seven-year-old predecessor emboldens the clean “Summit White” mesh with a muted “Sesame” hue outfitting the leather guard overlays. mud and midfoot. Just below, a more vibrant color proposition animates the suede panel that houses streaky mustard yellow “AIR MAX” branding. The presiding hue additionally treats the forefoot eye while its adjacent counterpart renders a “Safety Orange” accent that fills in the midfoot Swooshes of the models. Similar to the sketched Swooshes and blue insoles found in the Mr. Frank Rudy pack, the heel counter features a hand-drawn logo under a translucent tongue while under the foot, the ridged midsole features a jet black scheme at the above a final rubber tread.
