The Nike Air Max 97 OG Metallic Silver is a new colorway of the iconic runner who celebrates his 25th birthday this year. Set to debut overseas starting next week, the silhouette dons a bold two-tone “Metallic Silver/Chlorine Blue” color scheme. Overall, the mesh base and leather overlays are draped in the shiny hue while Navy adorns the wavy component and signature pull tabs, while Chlorine Blue adorns the mini Swoosh branding and Air cushioning interior Max. Finally, a Black/White rubber outsole completes the design.

UPDATE (8/4): Nike has announced that the Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Silver/Chlorine Blue” will be released via SNKRS on August 5th for $185.

Fast, fluid, refreshing, the Air Max 97 celebrates its 25th anniversary with a clutch colourway. The iconic design was inspired by Japanese bullet trains and water droplets, making the polished metallic silver fender and chlorine blue accents a perfect fit. Airy mesh keeps you cool, while full-length Nike Air cushioning lets you ride high in class-leading comfort.
