Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Pure Platinum” Collab Drops This Week

Frequent collaborators Patta and Nike have joined forces once again, and just like their recent project, the duo give the classic Air Max 1 sneaker a fresh new look.

After delivering the shoe’s “Dark Russet/Metallic Silver” colorway this month, the Amsterdam-based brand and the sportswear giant have confirmed that their latest “Pure Platinum” collaboration Nike Air Max 1 will launch before the end of the week.

Patta’s take on the beloved Nike Air Max 1 features a Grey-based mesh upper and is offset with White leather overlay panels along with a Silver Swoosh to the sides. The standout detail of the collaboration are the new wave-shaped mudguards as a nod to the project’s “The Next Wave” theme. Co-branding appears on the tongue label, while a sailcloth midsole and White outsole complete the look below.

“Following the launch of ‘The Wave’ in 2021 – a symbolic exercise in rolling and rising above the societal undertow – Nike and Patta have once again joined forces to present their latest expansion of the same theme with the Nike x Patta “The Next Wave” Air Max 1,” Patta wrote for the collaboration’s product description.

In addition to the sneaker, the latest project between Patta and Nike will include matching apparel.

The latest “Pure Platinum” colorway from Patta’s Nike Air Max 1 “The Next Wave” collab will drop this Friday at Nike.Patta.Nl and Patta stores for 170 Euros.

In related Nike news, a new white and brown Nike Air Force 1 “Color of the Month” colorway will drop next month.
