Supreme x Nike Air Max TL 1999 White Release Date 2022
Nike continues to sift through less-heralded archival offerings from the late ’90s, with New York’s Supreme once again tapped to help with a reintroduction. This time it’s the Air Max TL (TL Air Max IV, Air Max TL ’99), a runner that was originally released in 1999 and will be making its first-ever return to retail.
As usual, Supreme keeps it simple. The first leaked colorway (presumably there will be more) sees the shoe decked out entirely in white, with only contrasting silver hits to mark the logo hits. Supreme’s logo can be found on a bright red hang tag and in unique script on the heel.
For purists, there may be some disappointing news. This version of the Air Max TL sees the shoe lose its original tooling, with the more familiar Air Max 97 unit in its place. It’s unclear why Nike decided to change the cushioning for the re-release, but we’ll likely learn more about that decision closer to the official reveal.
Release information for the Supreme x Nike Air Max TL has yet to be announced. Keep an eye out for updates and official word from Supreme in the months ahead.
