March 8 has officially rolled around, meaning that it’s International Women’s Day 2023! Every day is a day to celebrate women, but the globally recognised day serves as a reminder that women are still working towards gender rights, equality and representation. There are so many ways that you can help women feel seen and heard. For one, you can acknowledge this day to the women around you and remind them that they have your support!
For those keen to drop a buck or two on some kicks, Jordan Brand have created a themed ‘International Women’s Day’ Air Jordan 1 Low, featuring the message ‘Because One Day, This Day Will Be Our Everyday’ on the toeboxes. If Jordan 1 Lows aren’t your thing, there are many other ways you can show support. A number of the industry’s epic women’s sneaker stores, which all carry wide arrays of product, from women’s specific sneakers to unisex pairs, apparel and more, are celebrating with activations, events and promotions to commemorate March 8. And there’s more! So make sure you keep it locked here to find out what’s happening in your locale. Happy IWD!
