Danielle Guizio and Reebok Team Up on the Club C Cleated
New York-based fashion label Danielle Guizio have teamed up with Reebok for their second go-around with the Club C series. Guizio founded her namesake womenswear label back in 2014, which, over the years, has gone on to find itself in the wardrobes of fashion’s elite, including Lady Gaga, Rosalia and more. Now the brand are linking up with Reebok once again to work on the Club C range. In June 2021, they debuted a collaborative Club C 85, which was then reissued on November 22 due to popular demand.
Up next is a co-created take on the Club C Cleated, which is available in two colourways: ‘Brush Brown’ and ‘Harmony Green’. In terms of construction, they feature thick, durable outsoles alongside suede uppers to create a practical hiking shoe. Double branding can be found on the tongue labels and insoles, which also feature a graphic depicting the route to self-actualisation.
On the collaboration, Danielle Guizio said, ‘It was so important for me to continue this journey from our previous sneaker and reach new meanings that reflect a personal journey. I am eternally grateful for the partnership with Reebok and have enjoyed developing our collaboration further. I wanted this new model to be a continuation of the story developed with our past model and relate back to human nature and self-reflection. With the previous collection telling its story of grounding yourself, it only felt all the more right for this shoe’s meaning to set inspiration intentions to climb high and set your goals knowing you can very well achieve them.’
Pairs will be available on March 3 via Reebok.
