Corduroy Covers the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Baltic Blue’

Update March 7, 2023: Official images of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Baltic Blue’ have surfaced, meaning a release for the corduroy-covered kicks is on the horizon. Check the shots above.

Corduroy and sneakers may seem like strange bedfellows, but the twill weave fabric has adorned plenty of silhouettes over the years, making for a clean textured vibe. Nike especially love to douse their iconic Air Max line in the textile, and many from the AM97 to the AM98 have received cord-clad makeovers. Now, the brand new Nike Air Max 1 ‘Baltic Blue’ is coming in hot!

Covered in a full-corduroy upper, both the underlays and overlays have been adorned in the electric blue fabric with a contrasting ‘Sesame’ Swoosh along the lateral and medial. Dark navy reaches the lining alongside complementary matching outsoles and white midsoles.

There’s no exact release for the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Baltic Blue’, but rumours suggest they will release in Spring 2023. You’ll be able to cop them at retailers like Offspring.
