Meet the Nike Air Max Pulse, Releasing for Air Max Day
This year’s Nike Air Max Day is already looking large, with Team Swoosh set to drop the megalithic Air Max 1 ’86 ‘Bug Bubble’. If Air-heads weren’t giddy enough, there’s also a brand-new silhouette slated to touch down, dubbed the Air Max Pulse, and official imagery is here, giving the world an in-depth look at the upcoming design.
A decidedly modernised take, the Pulse opts for a mix of mesh for its base and a synthetic leather mudguard on the upper in the futuristic ‘Photon Dust’ tone. Red Swooshes scatter across the top half alongside the new ‘Air’ tongue badge. The midsole is the most intriguing part, which emulates the Air unit used on the Air Max 270.
