Nike have made a note to resurrect the Zoom Vomero 5 in 2022, plastering the runner in a swathe of pleasing GR colourways. Originally released in 2010, the Vomero was crafted as a reliable runner for the mass market. It entered the lifestyle space in 2019 and was embraced by fashion through a collaboration with A-COLD-WALL*. Following a small allocation of GR colourways, the Vomero disappeared, only to return in 2022 with a vengeance!
The past few months have seen an allotment of colourways, like the ‘Black Sesame’ and ‘Oatmeal’. Now, the latest has arrived, and it exudes 2010 with chrome Swooshes and a ‘Photon Dust’ upper. Composed of leather, mesh and other synthetic fabrics, the Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Photon Dust’ is also bolstered with metallic eyestays and overlays. Subtle grey hints reach just above the midsole and the outsole, providing the perfect amount of contrast.
No release date has been locked in, but the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Photon Dust’ will land in 2023.
