Nike Dress Their Zoom Vomero 5 In ‘Varsity Maize’

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 is a star player in the 2023 Team Swoosh arsenal, kicking goals in crisp GR colourways and even a few wacky builds. The 2010 running silhouette’s resurgence kicked off toward the tail end of last year, and the initial colourway offerings quickly sold out. After a few months back on the market, it was clear that the Vomero 5 had been primed to be the next big thing. Now, alongside a ‘Worn Blue’ scheme, Nike have just crafted a summery ‘Varsity Maize’ colourway.

The upper is decked out in the usual material mix, boasting a mesh base layer, leather overlays, plus a synthetic heel and side cage. The colourway consists of mainly ‘Varsity Maize’ – a signature Team Swoosh tone – and ‘Laser Orange’, with subtle hints of ‘Metallic Silver’. Reflective detailing and Bill Bowerman insole round out this pair.

No exact release date has been locked in for the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Varsity Maize’, but expect pairs to land at select Swoosh stockists soon.
