Stone Island and New Balance are back together, building on a partnership that merged the Italian outerwear brand with New Balance’s Tokyo design incubator, Tokyo Design Studio.
Now, Stone Island has been allowed to touch one of New Balance’s most hallowed silhouettes, the 574. Fans of Stone Island will no doubt like the brand’s prominent badge sitting on the shoe’s tongue, while we can also see details like a terrycloth liner and what appears to be a ripstop fabric used on the toebox and collar. Seemingly dubbed the Legacy 574, the shoe’s colour scheme adheres to earthy tones like mossy green and brown.
The Stone Island x New Balance 574 Legacy arrives on February 16 from stoneisland.com and in selected Stone Island stores.
