Billie Eilish to Rework Nike’s Alpha Force Low

Update February 20, 2023: Late last year, rumours suggested Billie Eilish would continue her Nike partnership via a collaboration taking on the long-dormant Nike Alpha Force Low. Eilish’s project will see the Alpha Force Low, a silhouette originally hailing from the 80s, reignite an OG white, black and red colourway famously donned by Michael Jordan. Singer-songwriter Billie Eilish is set to continue her Nike collaboration into 2023.

The American artist kicked off her Swoosh partnership with two Jordan makeups in 2021, including a Jordan 1 AJKO and a Jordan 15, prior to a string of Air Force 1 makeups arriving before the end of 2022. In a few days’ time, Eilish is also set to drop her ‘Sequoia’ Air Force 1 High.

Sources trusted by Sneaker Freaker have confirmed that 2023 will see Billie Eilish reworking the Nike Alpha Force Low. A slightly more obscure Nike basketball silhouette from the late 1980s, the Alpha Force Low was famously worn by Michael Jordan in a 1988 matchup between the Bulls and Knicks, when Jordan recorded a 28-point scoresheet.

The leather low-top is denoted by a strap across the forefoot, an Air unit in the sole, and a ‘ski-lock heel’. The unmistakably 80s silhouette shares some design features with the Air Jordan 2, as well as with models like the Air Revolution.
